According to the Argentine soccer calendar, next Sunday we’ll be off to a clash of titans - The classic match of the two top country teams, River Plate vs. Boca Juniors will take place. Few countries in the world celebrate soccer as intensely and passionately as Argentina.
Following on the celebration of the characters of Argentine animation master Mr. García Ferré (see earlier entries here and here), I thought of depicting Anteojito (left) and Hijitus (right) about to start this match as a cover idea for a related mailing list I’m on. Here’s also Oaky, the born-rich baby that somehow gets around with no legs, acting as the referee.
